It is mentioned in series 2 episode 4 that Hal - Judy's husband was in Connecticut raising funds for there second camp which she obviously had state to rub in Bobby and Pamela's faces.
Also it is mentioned which Judy says about Pamela Jefferson and her when they used to play basketball in there younger years and that Pamela Jefferson was the captain of the women's basketball team and also the hockey team and the swim team and Judy says: "I used to hero-worship you, I guess." and then goes on to say in a self-righteous way "It is SO funny the way things turn out!"
Judy is determined to undermine Bobby and Pamela also to show that Camp Wimoweh is much better than Beaver Falls (Camp) and one up them on everything they do. Much like Hope with her rivalry with Rachael.
